Tribute to Jim Harris

We were very saddened to hear about the passing of Jim Harris on 12th, July, 2009. Our sincere condolences and sympathies are extended to his wife and family.

My initial contact with Jim was via emails and phone conversation in May 2009. We were relative strangers, yet the generosity and kindness of the man lead to discussions regarding the possibilities of collaborating on many projects together. Jim's innovative ideas and practical examples for online tuition, were inspirational and heralded a new age where everyone could benefit from his expertise and experience ... without the cost.

It is indeed a tribute to the integrity and skills of the man, that so many thousands of Amateurs and Professionals alike, have viewed and enjoyed his performances on You Tube. Needless to say, Jim will be missed by everyone.

As with all those who leave us too soon, we are left with a void which can never be replaced. In closing, we once again wish to express our heartfelt sympathies to Jim's family and friends ... everywhere.
